Once again, Maximus from the Neverwinter Vault, has updated their ongoing Dragon Age Forum Highlights with their latest (albeit short) installment - this time featuring BioWare's David Gaider, and Brenon Holmes...

Spirituality in DA

I'm not against having angels, demons or undead in fantasy games. I'm just against knowing for sure how the world is working, especially because these designs are often so embarrasingly primitive and stereotype (like that dragonlance pantheon). Therefore I would prefer having different concurrent beliefs.

And btw, undead are no proof of the afterlife. They are just a proof that you can live longer than your natural lifespan.
The way the world, and especially the divine, works is not understood. Without mystery, there is no such thing as faith. The existence of magic, especially since even it is not an entirely-understood power, actually complicates matters rather than making them clearer.
