Thief 3 was the only other game of interest to us in PC.IGN's GDC report. Here's the bit on Thief 3:
We had a chance to spend some time with the Xbox version of Thief III at the show. While technically an FPS, unlike the typical shooter, Thief III features slower, more methodical gameplay, where the shadows are your friend as they provide cover for our dishonest hero.

The levels are typical fantasy inspired fare with cobblestone streets, snarling gargoyles overhead and flickering torches providing lighting (as well as some sharp dynamic shadow effects). The level we played today was huge, much larger than we've seen in the original or the sequel on the PC, and filled with plenty of buildings, dark nooks and alleyways to hide in.

Unfortunately, like Deus Ex: Invisible War Thief III was running pretty choppy on the Xbox. We have our fingers crossed that the performance will be improved before its release next year.
