A second interview at HomeLan deals with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. They are talking to LucasArts producer Mike Gallo and producer and producer/project director Casey Hudson of BioWare. Again, here's a snip for you:
HomeLAN - What other unique gameplay features will Knights of the Old Republic have?

Casey Hudson - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic also has mini-games, which allow you to experience some of the fast-paced action from the Star Wars universe that wouldn’t be possible in the normal framework of the game. So, when your ship is attacked by Sith fighters, you’ll be able to man the turrets and shoot them down yourself. When you’re on certain worlds, you’ll be able to race a modified swoop racer for money and fame. You’ll even be able to play a card game with characters from around the galaxy.
