Standard Edition is a temporary release with a number of features disabled to allow players to get a feel for the basics of the game. As such there is no subscription fee for an introductory period.

The Campaign Edition of Lorgaine: The Black Standard, to be released on a subscription basis this summer, will be available as an upgrade to the Standard Edition. This full version of the game will have all the extra features enabled. For example, warbands will be able to gain skills and experience and to move around the country challenging the enemy, accruing food and supplies as they go. These supplies allow them to travel further, and thereby make more challenges. The objective is to take control of Erin and each race can only do this by winning in the circles of Lorgaine.
