Their rating of 9/10 reflects their positive feelings, and so does their conclusion: In the end, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is an absolute blast - a Diablo-style dungeon romp with plenty of Black Isle Studios’ style and professionalism to spare. You’ll have a really hard time pulling yourself away from the game, as your avatar slashes his (or her) way through beholders, dragons, golems, and other beasties. If you own a PS2 and are a fan of RPG’s, Diablo-style games, you’ll definitely get a kick out of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. The only grief they have is that the game is rather short...
