GameSpy: How many novels have you published since you got your start with The Crystal Shard, back in 1988?

R.A. Salvatore: God, um, 41? 42? The 17th Drizzt novel is coming soon (The Two Swords), I've done a Tarzan novelization, a Star Wars book, all kinds of stuff.
GameSpy: You're a gamer right?

R.A. Salvatore: I'm a gamer geek.
GameSpy: You play D&D, that's obvious from the books. Are you still playing D&D?

R.A. Salvatore: We've had different incarnations, but some of the people have been there from the beginning. Most of the guys I play with, I play D&D and EverQuest with.
