Deus Ex 2 is a very deep game. There are plenty of sidequests, which will net you cash, access to secret areas, and reputation adjustments. The game uses realistic physics; to hide in the shadows, you place yourself in a shadow; to keep people from hearing you, you shut a door. Every problem has multiple solutions, and enemies do not rely totally on pre-programmed scripts. Instead, they react to your actions in a realistic way. During your travels through the U.S., Germany, Antarctica, and Egypt, you will interact with the world almost as if it were the real world, and your choices are correspondingly vast.
