Anyone? Oh, hello at the back – good on you. In that case, who’s played Diablo or its sequel? Ah, lots more hands. Baldur’s Gate or its sequel? Again, more hands. You see, Divine Divinity was released in 2002 and went relatively unnoticed by gamers. It blended the combat of Diablo with the storylines of Baldur’s Gate, mixed with interactivity similar to that found in Ultima Online. Sounds perfect, no? Well, there were a few problems, such as shoddy translation and repetitive quests, but it remained an entertaining game nonetheless. Shoddy translation? |
