5) What sort of duties do you hold as a Community Relations rep for City Of Heroes?
The duties I hold now for City of Heroes will most definitely be added to once the game has been released because let me tell you…community live operations is a beast all in itself! But currently, I am responsible for everything on the web site – I schedule all the “programming” and write some articles and materials myself but also get other material directly from Cryptic (like the section updates). I oversee the Forum and field questions about the game that come in through the web site. I assess the fan base each week and write regular “Community Reports.” I try to spread awareness of the game across the Internet and track metrics so that we can see how the community is growing. I throw contest and promotions on the web site and try to lend support to the fan/portal sites by providing them with whatever content I can. But most of all, I am the “liaison” between the fan base and the company – reporting back what the fans think and feel about the various issues related to City of Heroes. |
