Titan Quest Vault is hosting a 'blog' for Iron Lore's developers. Brian Sullivan leads the way with the first installment with a little history lesson of the studio and the game. Titan Quest is being developed by Iron Lore Entertainment, a small studio located in the Boston area. Each week a member of our team will post an entry on some aspect of game development in areas of art, programming, design, audio, and management. Developing a blockbuster game is quite a challenge, both because it is a technical project, but also because it is a creative project. Both types of projects are notoriously hard for estimating scope and tracking progress. How much time does it take to make something fun? When is it fun enough? When is the performance fast enough? The main reason we are able to meet this challenge is we have assembled a fantastic team. This week I will talk about the development team behind Titan Quest.
