KIller Betties has kicked up a review of 'The Matrix Online'. The score is 4/5 ans here's a snippet:
One of the things that has impressed me since the first time I jacked in was how unique my character was. Glancing around at a party at one of the clubs in the game, nobody looks the same. I was able to sneak a peek at the item database during the Penny Arcade Expo last year during early beta. The screen was filled with different entries in the item database which I was informed were only the variety of male shirts available at the time. The artists at Monolith have done a stellar job creating a massive selection of clothing for both male and female players. In addition to clothing, there is a variety of accessories and items, from guns to program launchers to disguises. There are many tools available to aid you in your adventures. You don't even need a gun at all, if you aren't the type to shoot people. Put on a disguise as a security guard and nobody will think twice about you walking right by them.
