The folks from Gamespimp informed us that they have written a review of Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles and rated the game 7.9/10. Here's their verdict:
If you take Shrouded Isles for what it is, then it can be a positive experience. It is an expansion which added to the high end game, introduced a new graphics engine, new lands and new classes. On the flip side of that if you focus on what it is not then you could be sorely disappointed. It does not make your existing character more exciting and it does not offer you any new PVP options. It does not surpass Everquest in the high end PVP game, but it certainly draws it closer. Whichever side of the fence you are leaning on it is important to remember one undeniable fact. Shrouded Isles improved Dark Age of Camelot. It may not have offered us everything that we had hoped for, but it definitely made an improvement.
