In a followup newsbit to my collegue Moriendor's report yesterday that Kult: Heretic Kingdoms was available in the USA - I first want to say that I tracked my order earlier this AM - and that later on today I'll be playing Kult: Heretic Kingdoms on my own computer:-)
Secondly, at 0900 EST today, I had a very delightful (and informative) conversation with Merscom Marketing & Communications Manager, Dana Cowley, re further clarification on Kult's availability in the USA - and discovered the following:
(1) Kult: Heretic Kingdoms IS available in the USA (and has been for a few days now).
(2) At the present time, the Merscom Online Store is the only place where you can order Kult: Heretic Kingdoms in the USA (note: GoGamer has it available for order - but they aren't shipping Kult until {I think} the 20th of December, 2004 - it's hard to tell, as it is listed only as shipping 12/2004).
(3) The Gamer's Hell article by Silviu is still very much applicable at Merscom (saving you some of that hard-earned holiday paycheck). As a very additional savings on top of that, Merscom has also priced Kult: Heretic Kingdoms considereably lower than the GoGamer pricing.
(4) Lastly - any gaming order received by Merscom prior to 3PM EST will ship the same day!!!
And for what it is worth - I just received my copy of Kult: Heretic Kingdoms!!! |
