The Game with one of the Best 2D GFX ever. Really looks great. Alas the story is a bit boring if you play the whole game. Some clans have quite equal storylines. Combat could have benn better too. Nevertheless the game made a lot of fun. |

This game features the best artwork I have seen in a game yet as well as a haunting but very well done soundtrack. Personally, I found the story to be interesting, especially since you can play as each of the four sides with different outcomes. The new and diverse units for each race also add replayability as do the plethora of scripted side quests in each campaign. |

as mentioned above... the gfx are without peer.
unit progression generates an attachment/interest in each member of stack with no units considered as chaff to soak up some damage, in this it expands on what was found in AoW and leaves HoMM far behind.
Given, it is much lighter than either A0W or HoMM but that also adds to its charm, letting you accomplish a lot in 30mins but still hitting you with the 'just one more turn'.
