The review of Dungeon Siege at OnePC is a positive one with a rating of 8/10 - and this summary:
One thing is for sure: Dungeon Siege is not revolutionary. It builds on the concepts and proven gameplay of previous hits, and borrows liberally from Diablo. Yet it offers so many gameplay improvements to the classic formula that it’s almost a new experience. Despite the linear gameplay and pointless story, Dungeon Siege manages to be extremely entertaining and immediately accessible. Add the awesome graphics and you’ve got a winner. Ultimately, RPG gamers will wonder what the fuss is about, but Diablo addicts and fans of action games will have some of the best gaming moments so far in 2002. You can’t go wrong with Dungeon Siege.
