better than the first OC but sill not very good. I can't belive they picked the same retarded premise for this game "you have to find 4 sacred artifacts

It was an unfortunate mirror of the OC, true... however with less map space to run all over it was far less annoying. If I was to rate the module by itself I'd probably give it a 6 or 7 out of 10... but the Neverwinter engine is strong enough to float the game up some, especially with the new items, options, feats, and classes able to be used in multiplayer.

I am a bit amazed at the reviewers conclusion that the ncp´s are useless. Especially concerning deekin the kobold bard. My character is a monk...who has specialised into a shadowdancer. My main henchman has been the "useless" kobold. 1) Bardic song is real nice to have in combat (nice stat booster) and 2) its nice to have a henchman that is bit different from the usual hechman mold ( and deekin kinda reminds me of minsc from the baldurs gate series).

A good, solid game. An improvemtn over the original in a few ways. The biggest weak points are the 4 artifact main quest, and ch2 is wholely dissapointing. The npcs, and the role-playing are done very well.

Deekin is the only decent henchie. At least he can identify the "cool" new items, and has a decent back story. The alignment changes were ... interesting, but heavy handed and worse inconsistant - but then alignment is the most broken mechanic of any version of DnD. Note to game designers: getting killed by a single rat in the first 10 minutes is utterly uncool. Please remember the non-fighter classes in future modules. OTH: For a fighter this is a lot of fun - and for other classes, once they get above featherweight there are some very fun additions to NWN. Just like NWN, it'll be the fan modules that show us how much fun there is to be had.

Just gets better and better. Only online game I keep coming back to, to see what the player community has created. Bring on level 40.....

Okay, and fun; but that's about it.

I bought this so I could use the toolset since I was under the impression they had fixed the bugs. Guess what they havent. The storyline again is another dismal affair about an apprentice trying to save his master and killing his would be murderers. Wow, what an original concept from Bioware.

not as good as hordes of the underdark, but still a fine add-on for nwn despite the annoyingly linear campaign
