Groovalicious is next in line with their review of BioWare's/LucasArts' 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' and a score of 9.2/10.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been widely hailed as one of the best, if not the best, games of 2003, either on the XBox or the PC. It was initially released on the XBox, with the PC version following a few months after, and in most cases such as this, what we lowly PC gamers are given is some sort of half-assed port of a game that may or may not play well on the console it was birthed on. However, being a Bioware title (the developers of such phenomenal games as Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights), much credit was given to their abilities. For the most part, the game has been retooled to take advantage of a PCs doodads and geegaws, such as the mouse and keyboard. There are still a few aspects of the game that scream out "console whore!", however. Perhaps these can be overlooked, but that really depends on the relative quality of the rest of the experience. So without further ado, let's take a look at KotOR.
