Gamer's Hell has interviewed JC Entertainment's Jason Kim about his company's upcoming action horror MMORPG that's set in the Wild Wild West.

Here's a snip:
Tell us more about the characters in the game, are they based on skills? What about the missions and submissions, will we have missions according to difficulty levels?

The characters in Priest will gain experience points through battle or by completing various quests. However, unlike most games, instead of earning a ‘level’ after gaining enough experience points the characters in Priest will be able to spend their earned experience into 4 abilities, Strength, Dexterity, Technology and Intelligence. Each character class has a different structure and will be capable of increasing certain abilities easier than others. For example, the powerful Dragoon class can increase its Strength easier and faster than its Intelligence. By raising one ability over the other the player will be able to use or do things differently than another player of the same class. This, along with several other features of Priest, will allow for a more individualized character and a different aspect of the game.
There are various types of quests that are being worked on, some which would require assistance from other members in your faction, and others that can only be completed alone. An interesting quest in development is one which involves both sides of the factions. The Pilgrims and Preachers will have different purposes to complete this type of quest, but to succeed may require one side to be slain. It is like a hunter and a wild animal, they are both after the deer, but only one will walk away with the prize.
