I'm proud to still have the original Apple 2E floppy that I beat the game from when I was 6 years old in 1982. What's this? 3d dungeon crawling? Basic monster AI? They change party order, they heal themselves... Plenty of dungeon secrets to discover in spite of the simple graphics. Extensive character classes, spells, and items... 1982 yo! Other than the simple top-down Temple of Apshai this was the only quenching for the CRPG thirst at the time. Like Final fantasy, walking around exploring, bump into a party of monsters, turn based combat complete with melee, ranged, and spells.... 20 f'in years later and they're still making money with the same premise! Too bad SirTech crapped out...
