Harbinger Dev Report #4 at RPGVault

RPGVault has published the fourth Harbinger Development Report. Here's something from this short update from Andre Muir, Lead Programmer at Silverback Entertainment:

    Mechanized units are the only ones that set off, or can be damaged by, EMP mines. They were a timely addition to the game because one of our new enemies is the TYS-N gladiator. This is basically an enemy version of our playable gladiator robot, except really quick, really hard to kill and with a really big nasty blade. Steve Andrusyszyn (the programming Steve) came up with a clever plan to deal with the TYS-N problem. He would lay out a small field of EMP mines, lure the robots into a group with a camerakazi, detonate the camera and then use the minefield to take out any survivors.

Harbinger is an upcoming futuristic action RPG, and certainly has its very own touch...
