It seems odd at first for a group with high profile RTS designers would make the switch to an action RPG. But when you sit down and watch the play-through, you can tell how much joy they get from putting something fun together. Almost every moment of the presentation is full of energy and action, with baddies of wildly differing sizes and types, bunches of different abilities with which to make a mockery of them, and a prettily rendered world containing the whole experience. I say we keep an eye on Titan Quest. Rather than looking like a game trying to cynically coattail someone else's success, this looks more like a World of Warcraft-style attempt to take genre design conceits and hone them to a fine edge, an endeavor that I think Iron Lore is more than capable of doing.
