Here's a little something from that: EverQuest Online Adventures is set about 500 years before the original EverQuest timeline. The lands of Norrath are a very different place for heroes and vagabonds who care to embrace the hectic life of an adventurer. The Elves are on the brink of an inter-racial faction split (Wood Elves and High Elves will emerge as two separate groups) and familiar Norrathian haunts, such as Blackburrow, are home to the Dwarves instead of hordes of smelly Gnolls. Life is less complicated in this time period. There's no need for computer mice, complex corpse retrievals and the like, as a simple PS2 controller is all that is needed to survive.
