Sierra has released a 111 MB demo of its action oriented RPG Throne of Darkness.
It can be downloaded from a NY or San Jose, CA FTP server. OK, I live in Europe but 2.5 k/s requires a real bad FTP server when you're connection is DSL @ 768K. Blue's News apparently thought the same and they will be putting up mirror locations later today. So hang on just a little bit longer.
Throne of Darkness Demo
Japanese mythology and fast-paced multiplayer mayhem combine to make Throne of Darkness a must-have title for action-oriented, role-playing fans. Download the demo now to take command of four of your seven samurai and engage in a new play-calling system that allows you to control the formation and actions of your party with the click of a mouse. Struggle your way past massive hordes of the Dark Warlord's minions as you explore the first level of the game, The Citadel.
After installing the demo, please take a moment to study the Readme file, available from the Throne of Darkness demo group in the Windows Start Menu. The file includes keyboard commands, a brief walkthrough, troubleshooting tips, and other important information to aid you in getting started quickly and easily.
