Gamespy reviews EQ Online Adventures

Quite some reviews of Everquest Online Adventures for PS2 lately, and so far they have been a mixed bag. Now, there is a new review at gamespy, and this one is fairly positive with a rating of 84%. Their summary:
So, is EQOA for you? It really boils down to a few key factors. Are you prepared to stump up a recurring monthly fee? Are you willing to buy a USB keyboard? Do you have an Internet connection? Can you really afford to sink countless hours into a game that effectively has no end? For some gamers, EQOA will appear to be boring, repetitive gameplay with no rewards. For others, it will be the beginning of a great online fantasy experience enjoyed with thousands of other likeminded PS2 gamers.
EQOA is certainly not for everyone, but that doesn't mean it's not a great game. Again the world of MMOs has sucked me in, chewed me up, and spat me out -- and I love every minute of it. And remember that this is just the beginning of the MMO scene on the consoles. There are surely more great things to come in the future.
