Head over to Warcry for a review of CCP's 'Eve Online', with the score of 8.7/10:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… no wait, that isn't right. Space - the Final Frontier… no, that isn't right either. Ah, forget it. Look, many space sim type games have come and gone. Some of these were excellent games with graphics far beyond their time, while others were just not very good, but never before has a space sim with such a large scope as EVE been released to an MMO audience. EVE combines the graphics that we expect from space sims with many of the gameplay elements we demand. It adds in MMO staples such as trade skills and PvP combat, and it borrows some elements from an old text-based game called Trade Wars. The developers behind EVE managed to take all these pieces and combine them into a package that is incredibly attractive to both the casual and power gamers.
