Probably if Gothic had never been released no one will doubt this is the best RPG ever, but their NPCs AI put to shame Morrowind's. Still, it has the most inmersive world, the most enriching experience I have ever had with an RPG, and with new expansions and the mods from the Editor it includes, the experience will last for years to come.
