Revenge. What is revenge to a small boy who has witnessed his whole town getting burned to the ground and his father slaughtered? What is revenge to a boy whose mother and sister have been tortured and taken away by bandits?

Growing up in this strange place that people call The Guild, I share a room with some young girl who from day one I wanted to kill. I shouldn't be thinking like this, but after witnessing what I did, I have this dreadful desire inside to lash out at anyone and everyone. I spent many years here, and although my heart still burns with the fires of vengeance, I keep it deep inside me as I hone my skills and patiently bide my time.
