GamingNinjas (Er...OK) have reviewed Star Wars Galaxies. It's not a very structured article but gives an account of the reviewers experiences. Finding it more or less like every other MMOG, the rating is "maybe":
Most importantly, what is there to do? Well, there are missions, there's sitting around in the tavern playing an instrument or dancing, and there's sitting by a crafting station talking to your friends. If ever there was a game that needed a MUD-esque "Chat" channel, SWG is it. But it doesn't. Missions are either delivery or blow-em-ups at first, though as you advance skills, you can get missions related to your classes (so dancers can get a "Go Dance Here" mission, for example). It's still a lot of running, though, especially if you take a mission that goes outside the shuttlecraft routes, which means you run. And run. And run. The world's are huge, but strangely empty. Little camps of critters are around, as are Imperial/Rebels camps and random settlements, but the vistas tend towards the appallingly empty side.
