M3Dia Online have taken a look at World of Warcraft and it goes a little bit like this:
A big question is still standing over how combat is going to be handled in the game. We only know a few things about what Blizzard have planned and they are thus: There won't be any specific PVP zones, instead if people want to PVP then they have the choice to and those who do not want to join in will not be required to. I suspect a system like Asheron's Call where people have to visit a certain shrine to turn them into player killers. We know that combat will be fast paced, but more tactical than combat in Diablo II, which should be a welcome relief to expensive mouse owners out there. We also know how death will be handled, if you are to die in the game then you will respawn at one of many special locations with all your equipment. This makes the annoyance of looting or losing that special unique item a thing of the past, although some may take the view that this will take some of the excitement out of using that special unique item to go hunting. Magery is a tough one to talk about at the moment as we've not been told much about it. All we have are hints at spells from screenshots, but what we have seen looks to be impressive and "sparkly" which is normally important to MMORPG mages.
