The original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance got the double-whammy of video gaming: selling well AND getting good reviews. It was obvious that a sequel would be in the works. A year and half later and here it is, even if the developers aren't. If you haven't been following the news, Interplay has recently axed the Black Isle Studios team behind Dark Alliance II and will be releasing what was left in the office before everyone was handed their cardboard boxes. Fortunately, Dark Alliance II was already complete and will not suffer at all due to the shutdown.
