RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Saint_Proverbius has rated the following games:

Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura: 9/10 points

I agree that arcanum has flaws, mainly stemming from the character system itself which every living thing in the game uses. However, the uniqueness of the setting, the dialogue use, the freedom, and so on really make this RPG better than nearly every other one released in the last few years. How many games let you join the bad guy?

Deus Ex: 3/10 points

The fact that the only way you can change the world in this game is what you do in the final mission and not any of the others makes this a fairly poor RPG, IMHO. It's a pretty good shooter, but I'd hardly call it a good RPG.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points

Well, since nothing has ever come close to topping Fallout, I'll give it a nice, fat 10.

Wasteland: 9/10 points

While it shows it's age in terms of design no-nos that might make people who are used to more modern games cringe, Wasteland does excel in many areas such as skill triggers. Use attributes and skills on most anything? Tell me that's not cool.
