Better than the original. The weapon sets help but gameplay has not changed. Cheap enough for 15-20 hours of plodding thru a Dungeon Seige game. If you liked Dungeon Seige then this is for you. |

Better than average. LoA continues directly from the original. Now you play the child of your previous hero character. On the minus side, the graphics and game play have not improved meaningfully over the original. On the plus side, the graphics are still captivating, you can play straight through or hit all the little cave and so on, and there are lots of configurations for your party, the sound is better than many similar games, and strategy can be important. From the comments, this is a game you enoy or not - it is not all bashing and blood, but if you loved the original, this will be refreshing. |

Just more Dungeon Siege. As an expansion to DS, I compare it to Diablo 2: Lords of destruction. And the comparison is not flattering: no real new feature worth mentioning, but the graphics are ok. They could have added party management (more than one character at a time) in multiplayer, but they didn't.
Pros: Continuous world, nice items.
Cons: No role-playing, just shop, equip, attack and heal. |
