A positive review of Earth & Beyond has been posted at Gaming Horzion. Their rating is 8.5/10, and their summary reflects their feelings about Westwood's futuristic MMORPG:
Earth & Beyond is indeed a different take on the MMORPG, and is probably a good example of where the genre is heading in the future. In order for online role-playing games to evolve, risks and new ideas must be attempted, and Westwood has definitely gone out on a fragile limb here. The game, while not perfect, will become better over time as Westwood's development team becomes more experienced within the genre. Additions to the game via scheduled monthly content updates suggests that there is, indeed, hope for this game to become something much greater. While this may not be the most enthralling MMORPG out there, it is definitely the most unique, and due to that it might at least deserve a look, as the first month of play comes without the monthly $12.95 play fee.
