RPG Vault talks with the organisers of Korea's massively multiplayer-oriented game show, due to take place next week.Jonric: To begin the interview with an introduction to GSTAR for our readers, when, how and why was the show created?
Moon-Kyung Jung: GSTAR is the brand new game show in Korea. It will be held November 10 to13, 2005 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), which opened earlier this year.
The Ministry of Culture & Tourism and the Ministry of Information & Communication took the initiative in combining with small- and medium-sized shows that were held each year, and created GSTAR as an international trade exhibition.
When this initiative launched in December of 2004, the key players in Korea's gaming industry and governments all got together in one place to celebrate, and felt proud for our country's first genuine game show that is worthy of international attention. | Source: RPG Vault |
