D&D Heroes (Xbox) has been reviewed at Gamers With Jobs. There's no final score but the article is reasonably positive for those looking for a console action title. Here's an excerpt:
What is there to explain? In an action RPG, the player moves around the screen and presses buttons to unleash massive special FX onto hapless monsters of various sizes. After a few waves of graphical FX clear from the screen, the enemies perform a gruesome, bloody Shakespearian death, disappear and leave behind some shiny trinkets. Further, when enough successful waves of FX and Shakespearian death have occurred, the player gains a new level. Each new level earns an increasing amount of skill points to spend on new spells/skills or add more power to existing ones. Unfortunately, with the amount of spells available to every class, only a handful of spells have been balanced sufficiently to be useful or maintain usefulness throughout the characters life. Luckily, at higher experience levels, the character has enough skill points to flesh out and test two-thirds of the available skills. This minimizes the trial and error necessary to find what works.
