HomeLan Fed has interviewed VUGames associate producer James Altenburg about their plans for Middle Earth Online. Here's a clip:
HomeLAN - How much pressure is there to create a game where Tolkien fans can finally enter a virtual Middle Earth?

James Altenburg - The pressure is somewhere between 4,000 and 6,000 PSI. Honestly, it's an extremely popular world with a huge number of fans. And some of them are extremely critical. We hired a bunch of those people. It hasn't quite gotten to the "keep-you-up-all-night-squirming-at-the-thought-of-your-decisions-in-life" pressure, but it is close. This is not just any fantasy world here, we are working with the single most popular fantasy world -- ever. Yes, there is pressure.
