There's a new Horizons interview at HomeLan today. They talk to Jeff Perales, the lead texture artist for this upcoming massively multiplayer RPG. Here's a part from their article, talking about creating the "style" for the game:
HomeLAN - How difficult has it been creating art styles for a game with as much scope as Horizons will have?

Jeff Perales - There is so much to draw from. Everyone has there own ideas to what Horizons should look like. Jane, the Art Director has been able to tap into each our individual strengths and shape them into a style that incorporates them all into something truly unique. Everyone on the team has brought something valuable to the look of the game. Because of the enormity of Horizons there is almost room for everyone's ideas on style. The difficulty has been making sure we do not go off on a tangent and become like everyone else.
