I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I got to my E3 appointment at Buena Vista Games. I'd come to take a look at Pirates of the Caribbean Online, a massively multiplayer game based on both the hit movie starring Johnny Depp and the much loved Disney theme park ride. Would this be a quick and dirty production designed to just cash in on the sudden franchise cache generated by a couple of hit movies? What does Disney know about making an MMO, anyway? Quite a lot, as it turns out.
