EQ2 Vault has the 13th installment of EverQuest 2: Ask SOE. Although the header says #12, it is #13 BTW. Here is a sample:

Deathstryker: There is an in game macro system in SWG that makes many of the games more mundane tasks a little easier. Horizons has also launched with an in game macro system. Will there be an in game macro system in EQ2?

Steve "Moorgard" Danuser: You will be able to make hotkeys for certain actions just as you can in EverQuest. But we feel the way to deal with mundane tasks is by minimizing or eliminating as many of them as possible rather than encouraging ways to circumvent them. The goal is to make the process itself fun.

Deathstryker: One concern of many players is the “good and evil classes”. The concern is that a shadow knight will have skills that are similar to a Paladin, and that the skills given to the end classes are basically mirrors of each other. Is this the case, or are the classes, and class skills, completely unique?

Steve "Moorgard" Danuser: Our classes are balanced at the archetype level. That is, the core role of a given archetype will be the same for all sub-classes of that branch. For example, the fighter's purpose is to deal damage and to absorb damage; the paladin and the shadow knight will perform those functions equally well. However, there will be additional abilities gained at the sub-class level that make paladins and shadow knights different from one another. As long as those additional functions don't make either better or worse at their core abilities, balance is maintained while still making each sub-class unique.

Good info, thanks guys!
