While the few other reviews so far are enthusiastic, this one is not even lukewarm with a ratig of 4.7/10. Their conclusion: Westwood had the idea right, but overall, failed to make it work. Earth and Beyond still lacks the variety needed to make it a decent online game. Lag and awful audio also add into the mix. The nice space visuals and the change from the fantasy atmosphere couldn't make up for the glaring negatives. As it stands, there still hasn't been a decent online only game to be developed, but I still cross my fingers and hope a developer out there will try it sometime.
