Good morning. I dunno if it is as hot as here where you live, but even typing makes one sweat at my office :-). Which is a nice thing, actually, with a long weekend ahead and some nice lakes not more than a 15 min drive away. But of course, this is useless chitchat, so let's start with the news - and with some things that have been piblished at RPGVault this night. The first thing is a Lionheart Q&A, in which they talk to a cuple of guys from Reflexive Entertainment and asking this question: "What are a couple of sound, voice or musical elements that you consider most memorable or effective, and why do you feel they work especially well?" Here's the answer from Lead Designer Ion Hardie:
There are some Daeva sounds that are exceptional - these are unique demons that each has special powers. Each of the main Daevas in the game has a background, ominous "death chant" sound that follows them everywhere. In the heat of battle, it is easy to lose this dark, foreboding rhythm, but if you get the chance to talk them without spells and crossbows blazing, it is really a neat touch. Also, Aesma, the Daeva of Fury, has a soul-rending howl that he emits right before spawning one of his minions that I think really gets the player in the mood for tearing a few heads off.

In general, I also think the other monster sounds are quite well done. The fantastical creatures in Lionheart, such as the Goblins, Dragons and Sand Spirits, really come to life with the sounds that were created.
