TechTV has also posted a review of Ion Storm's RPG-Adventure Anachronox, but has come a rather average conclusion, as on can also see by the 3/5 stars rating:

For all the years it took to make "Anachronox," the oddest part of the whole game is simply that it still manages to feel as if it was rushed out. Too much of "Anachronox" feels like aimless wandering, and its annoying propensity for item hunts doesn't help matters. The parts that work right, however, work well enough to keep gamers involved for hours on end, and for those adventurers looking for a long sci-fi adventure that's different than any other RPG on the PC, "Anachronox" certainly fits the bill.
