Too much of "Anachronox" feels like aimless wandering, and its annoying propensity for item hunts doesn't help matters. The parts that work right, however, work well enough to keep gamers involved for hours on end, and for those adventurers looking for a long sci-fi adventure that's different than any other RPG on the PC, "Anachronox" certainly fits the bill.
