Two sites have kicked up some hands-on impressions of Flagship's 'Hellgate London'. The first is at Gamers Hell and a second longer one at PC.IGN, so here's a clip from the latter:Although Hellgate: London isn't expected to come out until 2006 or even later, Flagship Studios had a big presence at the Namco booth at E3, with about a dozen systems up and running with an impressive build of the game. Although this game is probably pre-alpha at best, it already looks great, plays smoothly, and is surprisingly stable--I had one temporary lockup and one temporary visual glitch during the half-hour or so that I played it. I don't know how long I was actually there, despite the fact that I really need some sleep, missed lunch, and have been standing and walking around for hours. I lost track of time and fell into a glorious groove of just having fun. |
