It seems that the eagerly awaited remake of Ultima 5 using the Dungeon Siege engine and code named Lazarus, has unfortunately been delayed. Here's the relevant section.

Dialogue-writing for Lazarus is a long and involved process, and it is here that our weak point is located. With over 270 unique NPCs in the game, the workload for editing alone is immense. Although we've got some great new writers aboard recently, and the team has really been coming together, we've not been producing fast enough (day jobs and families tend to suck up a rather annoying amount of time) to realistically hit the target release date of May 18th and still maintain any semblance of quality.

More details are available at the Lazarus website, which you'll find Here.
