EGCore has an interesting Editorial on Sexual Harassment Inside Online Games. Here is an excerpt:

When a woman who plays online games decides to write about the topic of sexual harassment inside those games, she needs to walk a fine line. You cannot take the topic personally and stay true to the roots of fair and unbiased journalism. You cannot internalize the images of females online, real and unreal, and hold onto your desire to give your readers a well-rounded discussion. And of course, you cannot bring in personal beefs with past experiences dealing with sexual harassment inside online games because that would simply make you look like some angry ranting female who some men would brush off as dramatic and argumentative. With all of these points in mind, I decided to go ahead and dive head first into a topic that can provoke heated debates, uncomfortable shifts in your seats and sometimes a wicked grin on your face.
