The next site to have a review of Big Blue Box'/Lionhead's/Microsoft's XBox RPG 'Fable' is Loadedinc. Rating: 7.5/10.
Lionhead Studios, the creator of Black & White, is back again with another ambitious game designed exclusively for the Xbox, entitled Fable. Fable is an action RPG, boasting a living world where you can battle enemies, explore the land, dig for treasure, go fishing, tan in the sun, get married, have children, and gain renown throughout your various quests. While the concepts behind the game are a perfect match for a role-playing game, the reality is that only part of the ambition has been realized. The game ultimately suffers from a disappointing story and passable gameplay.
