Gameplanet has reviewed 'Heroes of Might & Magic III Complete', a package containing the original 'HoMM III' and its expansions. Rating: 4/5.
COMPILATION GAMES ARE USUALLY a way of game distributors eking out the last drop of revenue from titles that should have been retired a long time ago. There does however from time to time come along one that truly represents value for money and worth adding to your collection. Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete is one such game.

The premise of this game is simple and owes its roots to chess, Risk and other board games of their ilk. As a player you control your heroes who in turn sit atop a stack of units. You move them about, gathering resources and claiming both towns and resource-producing sites on a turn-based system where each turn represents a day of in-game time. The more you have in gold, gems, wood, ore, crystals and mercury dictates the more units you can produce, and the upgrades you can do to your towns.
