Amidst rumors of a Fable 1.5 or a true Fable sequel on Xbox or the next generation Xbox, Microsoft and Lionhead announced today that the next incarnation of their RPG Fable will be Fable: The Lost Chapters, a PC version of the original game that features new content.

That new content includes "greater customization, new quests and enhanced graphics," according to Microsoft's press release. More specifically, the release states that players will be able to "fight new monsters, practice an expanded group of spells, don new armor, wield additional weapons and interact with new expressions." So basically, it's Fable with a lot of small upgrades and an improved graphics engine more appropriate for the PC platform.
