Little has been revealed about the new title up to now but it's Gamer's Hell who have scored some screens & facts from Spellforce. Here's a snip: Spellforce is a hybrid of RTS and RPG, with the player taking the role of a persistent main character that can summon armies, much like Shiny's Sacrifice, but from an isometric perspective. This main character collects runes as the game progresses, which allows him to summon different types of units -- everything from workers to heroes. He can only summon at a monolith, however, making holding that territory important.
