Another official Gothic II site update. Gothic II programmer Carsten Edenfeld has compiled a list of new features the Gothic II engine is going to offer compared to the original game.

Here are the first three entries (out of five in total):
  • - engine makes better use of hardware (environmental mapping, detail textures...)

  • - optional first person camera avaliable

  • - plants, leaves, rain and some other systems like the particle system react to wind.
